ABSTRAK
Latar Belakang : Penyakit diabetes militus merupakan penyakit tidak menular dan
saat ini menjadi ancaman dunia. Menurut Internasional Diabetes Federation (IDF)
Indonesia berada pada urutan ke-7 berdasarkan prevalensi penderita diabetes
mellitus dengan jumlah kasus sekitar 10,7 juta jiwa pada tahun 2019. Ulkus diabetik
yaitu komplikasi yang paling ditakuti pasien DM karena berkurangnya suplay darah
ke jaringan tersebut menyebabkan kematian jaringan dan diperparah dengan infeksi
bakteri yang dapat menyebabkan amputasi bahkan berdampak luas karena dapat
menyebabkan kematian. Perubahan citra tubuh (body image) adalah perubahan
persepsi tubuh yang diakibatkan oleh perubahan ukuran, bentuk, struktur, fungsi,
keterbatasan, makna dan objek seseorang
Metode : desain penelitian cross sectional study dengan jumlah sampel sebesar 57
responden. Analisa data menggunakan uji Chi-Square.
Hasil: Nilai uji signifikansi (p value) < 0,05 maka H1 diterima artinya ada hubungan
antara derajat ulkus diabetikum dengan perubahan citra tubuh di RS Sentra Medika
Cisalak Tahun 2022.
Kesimpulan: Kondisi ulkus diabetikum dengan derajat luka yang lebih tinggi dapat
mempengaruhi perubahan citra tubuh responden, sehingga upaya promotif perlu
dilakukan dengan baik.

Diabetes is a disease caused by the body's inability to make or use insulin properly. Diabetic ulcers are the most feared complication of DM patients. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between the degree of diabetic ulcers and changes in body image of diabetes mellitus patients at Sentra Medika Cisalak Hospital. The benefit is to increase knowledge and scientific insight regarding the relationship between the degree of diabetic ulcers and changes in body image in diabetes mellitus patients. The research is an analytical survey with a cross sectional study design. This research was carried out from November 2022 to February 2023 at Sentra Medika Cisalak Hospital, with a sample of 57 diabetes sufferers. The research instrument uses a questionnaire, data collection is based on respondents' answers and researchers' statements and answers to questions consist of a Diabetic Ulcer Observation Sheet and a Body Image Change Questionnaire using a Likert Scale. The analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis with the Chi Square test. The results of the research showed that the frequency distribution of respondents was based on the degree of injury with the majority of respondents being in the category 5 of diabetic ulcers with 32 respondents (56.1%). Frequency distribution of changes in body image of respondents with the majority being maladaptive, 33 respondents (57.9%), indicating that there is a relationship between the degree of diabetic ulcers and changes in body image at Sentra Medika Cisalak Hospital in 2022. It is hoped that through this research the community will adopt a healthier lifestyle. to avoid various risks of diabetes mellitus.
