Abstrak
ABSTRACT Background: Diabetes is a disease of increased metabolic rate and sedentary blood sugar levels higher than normal. Type2 millitus diabetes is the 8th highest list of 1029 diseases hospitalized at Sentra Medika Cisalak Hospital in 2022 from January to October, with a prevalence of 1.9%. The outpatient prevalence in September was 1.2% increased in Octobero1.8% of patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nutritional status and blood glucose levels in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients at Sentra Medika Hospital Cisalak. Method: This type of study uses an analytical observational research design with a cross sectional approach to measure variables of nutritional status and blood glucose levels. The sampling technique uses total sampling with a population of 65 respondents. The instruments used are using observation sheets and using GEA ZT-120 weight scales, height gauges and 2 ACCU-CHECK Guide blood sugar measuring instruments that have been calibrated before being used for researchn . The data analysis used in this study was the chi-square test. Result: The results of the statistical test using Chi-square obtained P value = 0.04 (P0.05). Based on the P value, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between nutritional status and blood glucose levels in type 2 Diabetes Mellitus patients at Sentra Medika Cisalak Hospital. Conclusion: From the number of respondents 65 people, 37 people obtained more nutritional status consisting of 23 people (62.2%) normal sugar levels, 1 2 people (3 2.4%) moderate blood sugar levels and 2 people (5.4%) high blood sugar levels. While 28 people with Good Nutrition status consisted of 25 people (89.3%) normal blood sugar levels, 2 people (7.1%) moderate blood sugar levels and 1 person (3.6%) high blood sugar levels.
